Lisa,
My mother had glocoma and she had used drops (timoptic). Not sure if I spelled that right. She only had it in one eye and later in the other. It is progressive if not properly treated. She reached a point where she had to have laser eye surgery. She had many eye surgeries and was eventually able to see pretty well. She had a tube put behind the eye ball to drain the excess fluid. Alittle tip if you want to. Omit any foods on your husband that will raise his storage of fluids. Like salt foods. Check sodium on labels. The averege adult is supposed to have about 555 mg of salt daily. Any thing over that is escess. I am not a doctor nor am I giving any advise, but am relaying information I obtained during the care of my mother over they years she suffered with the disease. Good luck. Maybe you should contact the doctor for pamphlets and extra advise on how to help him. Good luck Linda
