Researchers have found that brain areas involved in daydreaming may become the prime target area of the brain in the development of Alsheimer's disease. This finding along with findings from other research may help scientists discover a way to prevent or prolong the development of this disease. Alsheimer's disease causes severe dementia and disability leading to complete disability and death.
