Cronic Pain

Elderly persons with cronic pain often have a variety of medical problems and many possible sources of the pain. Diagnosis and treatment of cronic pain are more difficult in elderly persons than in younger persons.
Cronic pain is characterized by a long duration beyond the expected time for healing. The cause is often cronic and disease related.
