Surgery in my case has not been even mentioned. The doctor wants me to lose some weight and keep taking my medication maybe for life. I would prefer surgery but surgery could cause food and acid to backup into the esophagus causing heartburn and chest pain. So I would be back at stage 1 again. What to do?
