Epilepsey is a strange phenomenon. There are many causes of epilepsey. I had seizures about 10 years ago. I was crossing a street and the next thing I knew I was in the hospital, some good samaritan rescued me. They did an EKG and several other tests and couldn't find the cause. They put me on a medication to control it. Fortunatly it stopped for unknown reasons.. Your boyfriend should go to a doctor as there are several medications available to control seizures. DaveB
